Malin Andersson has revealed she’s quit drinking as she grieves for her baby Consy.
The Love Island star said giving up alcohol has helped her mental health after the tragic loss of her daughter earlier this year.
Consy died in January when she was just one month old and Malin says turning to booze "doesn’t help one bit".
In a candid post on Instagram, she wrote: "Decided to quit the alcohol a few days before I got back from Dubai.
"Best thing I’ve done to date. Especially if you’re going through quite a bit.
"It helps with mental clarity and lets you see life through a clearer filter. I know I was easy to turn to drinking with my friends etc as a way of escaping. And everyone thought I was fine. But it doesn’t help one bit.
"Moderation is key .. and if you’re wanting to change your thought process, you need to make sure nothing is stopping your brain by being on fire."
She also shared pictures of plaster hand and footprints she made with Consy before her death.
Malin and her boyfriend Tom Kemp welcomed little Consy, named after her late mum, seven weeks early on December 23.
The little one lived for just four weeks and after her death, Malin shared her grief with fans on Instagram .
She wrote: "Completely in love with you.. and my Mum just wanted you to be with her.
"Your time wasn’t ready yet. Mummy loves you. I stayed with you each day.. you opened your eyes one last time for me and I saw those beautiful big brown eyes. I’m so sorry I couldn’t do anymore. Go be with grandma Consy.
"My angel. Rest in peace CONSY GLORIA EMMA ANDERSSON-KEMP 23/12/18-22/01/19."
Consy was named after Malin’s late mother, who died in 2017 after battling breast cancer for a third time.
