Linda Nolan, 62, couldn’t hold back her tears when she and her sister Anne Nolan, 70, were shown a sweet video message sent in by Coleen Nolan, 56, while they discussed their new book on Steph’s Packed Lunch this afternoon. The Nolans singers were busy chatting to host Steph McGovern about their new project, entitled Stronger Together, a joint memoir about their cancer battles after they were tragically diagnosed days apart last year.
Anne, who is now cancer free, spoke to Steph about how supportive their family has been during the health woes.
She said: “It’s good to know that you’ve got somebody at the other end of the phone all the time.
“So it’s amazing to have such a great family, and friends as well.”
Anne and Linda were then interrupted by a surprise congratulatory clip from their younger sibling Coleen, who shared how proud she was of them and their book.

Coleen also told the pair how excited she was to see them soon as coronavirus lockdown restrictions are beginning to ease in England.
“Love you loads, can’t wait to see you,” the Loose Women panellist gushed before ending her message.
“I bet you can’t wait to meet up again,” Steph told the duo.
Linda then became visibly tearful, as she admitted: “Oh yeah, Coleen lives in Cheshire.
“We’re all in Blackpool apart from Coleen, so we haven’t seen her for quite a while now really, so we’re really looking forward…”
Linda’s voice broke off, as she wiped away tears from her eyes and admitted: “Oh that was lovely.
“I’m getting a little bit teary there!”
Anne chimed: “Yeah, the last time we saw her was when we did our TV series, wasn’t it?”

“Yeah,” Linda nodded.
“So we haven’t seen her for a few months now,” Anne continued.
Earlier in the interview, Linda detailed her emotional struggles while being around her family during her illness, as she divulged: “You come in and you’ve had a great time and you’ve been happy for everyone else.
“And then I slide down the wall in a heap and cry because I’m scared at times and I want to be around.”
It comes after the Nolans star, who is battling secondary breast cancer, admitted she worries about getting the results from her oncologist “every time” she has a CT scan in case the disease has “spread again”.
Opening up about her illness, Linda said: “I have secondary breast cancer.
“It was in my breast in 2006 and then it metastasized [when cancer cells break away and form new tumours in other parts of the body].
“In 2017 it went to my hip and last May it moved to my liver. Some of the tumours in my liver have got slightly bigger, which is why I’m on chemo tablets now. I take four in the morning and four at night.
“I have a CT scan coming up and after that I’ll get the results from my oncologist.”
She added to OK! Magazine: “Every time, I worry if it’s spread again. I’m scared of dying.”
