Kym Marsh has explained how she will honour her late son Archie at her wedding to fiancé Scott Ratcliff later this year.
Revealing she will “definitely” do something on her big day to remember her little boy, The Morning Live presenter told OK!: “Archie’s ashes are with me, because I don’t think I should be putting them anywhere other than with me.
“I didn’t get to know what kind of little boy he would be, what he would have liked and what sort of places he would have liked to go to.”
She continued of her plan to make a nod to her late son: “We will definitely do something at the wedding.”
Archie, who Kym shared with her former husband Jamie Lomas, was born 18 weeks premature when the star was just 21 weeks into her pregnancy.
She and Hollyoaks actor Jamie, 46, are also parents to daughter Polly, 10, while Kym is also mum to David, 26, and Emilie, 24, from a previous relationship.
Kym and army major Scott got engaged on the Coronation Street actress’ 45th birthday last month.
Exclusively opening up about the moment he proposed, Scott told OK! how he involved Kym’s Corrie BFF Anthony Cotton and his partner Peter Ecclestone, as Anthony introduced him to Kym three years ago.
Explaining why he picked Antony and Peter’s home as the place to propose, Scott told OK!: “Anthony and Peter’s house is a place full of fond memories for us. We went for dinner there and Antony hosted us fantastically.”
Scott added that Anthony “didn’t know” he was going to the pop the question that evening and it was a total surprise to everyone involved.
He continued: “He didn’t know – it was a secret. We had a lovely meal and some wine and champagne.
"We’d all relaxed into the lounge and I said: "Ant, Kym and I are a few years in to our relationship now and we’re incredibly happy and we owe so much of that to you.
“And then I said a few words to Kym about how she changed my life and how I was a happier and better person because of her influence on me and that I was completely in love with her.
"Then I got down on one knee and asked if she would consider being my wife.”

Of how she reacted to Scott’s question, Kym added: “It doesn’t surprise me when Scott says lovely things, because he’s always like that. That’s one of the reasons I love him, because he’s not afraid to tell people how he’s feeling.
“I just thought it was Scott being lovely. So when he got down on one knee I was like: ‘Oh my God!’ I got teary and said yes immediately.”
Kym and Scott now plan to tie the knot later this year in a military-themed wedding, with the star hopeful that her dad David will be well enough to walk her down the aisle.
