Katie Price ‘s kids looked miserable as she made them eat low-calorie pancakes on Shrove Tuesday.
The former glamour girl, 40, swapped the family’s annual Pancake Day treats for healthy options that she could plug on Instagram .
She gathered her kids around her to pose for a photo with their 27-calorie pancakes, and the youngsters couldn’t hide their glum expressions.
Harvey, 16, sat with his head in his hands while his younger brother and sister, Bunny and Jett, squeezed the zero calorie and non-fat sauces onto their plates.
Katie – who wore a huge smile in the snap – used the picture as an Instagram plug for the company which makes the super-skinny pancakes and sauces.
She wrote: "Today is #PancakeDay which is always a great time when you have kids!…
"Today we opted for better for you choices and turned to @skinnyfoodco for the goods!
"We have low calorie pancakes (27 calories per pancake) and 0 calorie syrups.
"The syrups are calorie free, fat free, gluten free and sugar free. They’re great for anybody but especially when you have kids with a sweet tooth. #AD #skinnyfoodco #Notguilty ."
Followers flocked to Katie’s page to beg her to allow the kids a treat on Pancake Day, with one writing: "Give the poor kids some Nutella."
Another wrote: "Harvey’s like ‘I’m not eating this rubbish!’"
It comes after the skint mum-of-five was slammed for plugging rival diet products in a desperate bid for cash.
Katie narrowly avoided bankruptcy last year and she has been busy trying to recoup her money by signing up with diet companies to shill their products.
Fans noticed just seven days ago that she was promoting Boombod shots, which claim to help users lose weight within a week, stop cravings and ‘collects food particles and toxins’ in the digestive tract to ‘cleanse without laxative effects’.
She provided before and after pictures of herself for comparison, writing next to them: "Results are in! Another round of @boombod done, and THIS is why I keep coming back. It just works! Their 7 day achiever program is quick, easy, and the shots taste great – trust me, if you’re fussy that matters.
"For everyone asking me about health & weight loss tips, this is always my go-to. Check them out!" she added.
However, just a week later, Katie was promoting the diet shake company Nutribuddy.
She shared another snap of herself clutching a Nutribuddy water bottle in her kitchen, captioning it: "With the launch of my 2 new kidswear brands coming up in April things have been hectic! Having a healthy, filling breakfast is important to me as it boosts my metabolism and helps me resist unhealthy snacks."
Her post came just days before her Pancake Day update which showed her promoting the third diet brand in as many weeks.
Many fans pointed out that Katie seems to have switched brands to make more money, and criticised her for posting so many adverts.
