Kate Middleton and Prince William’s wedding was truly a magical day, and royal fans will never forget the Duchess of Cambridge’s iconic gown.
Now, to celebrate their eighth wedding anniversary, having gotten married on April 29, 2011, the official Kensington Palace Instagram account shared an adorable message from the couple writing, “🎊 8 years ago today — thank you for your lovely messages on The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding anniversary!”

Kate recently honored her wedding anniversary at the royal family’s Easter Sunday church service. While the duchess wore a gorgeous baby blue coat dress to the event, she accessorized the look with the very same diamond earrings she wore on her royal wedding day, referencing the fact that her anniversary was coming up:
It was recently announced that, following their eighth wedding anniversary, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be making a trip to Caernarfon in North Wales.
Following their wedding, Kate and William lived in Anglesey, close to Caernarfon, between 2011 and 2013.
The Kensington Palace Twitter account revealed that the royals will “meet individuals and organizations in the region who are encouraging people to look after their communities and protect the natural environment” during their May 8, 2019 trip.
