Jamie Redknapp celebrates Raphael’s 1st birthday with beautiful family pics

Jamie Redknapp has taken to social media to gush over his son Raphael as the tot marks his first birthday.

Jamie, 49, shares his son with wife Frida, whom he married in an intimate London ceremony last year and recently celebrated their first anniversary.

With Saturday 19 November being Raphael’s birthday, doting dad Jamie posted a series of photos of him with his youngest son.

In one snap, Raphael gave a cheeky smile to the camera while appearing to be sitting on a slide, while another snap showed Frida, Jamie and their son at the beach somewhere sunny. Adding to the sweetness of the photo, Raphael could be seen looking up adoringly at his mum.

A third photo showed Jamie beaming with the tot sat on his knee, as the fourth included Raphael’s big brothers Charley and Beau, from Jamie’s previous marriage to Louise Redknapp.

Lastly was a photo of Raphael looking cute in a backwards cap while giving a grumpy look to the person behind the camera.

“Happy 1st birthday Raphael,” Jamie captioned the post. “You have brought so much joy to our family with your cheeky character. We love you so much.”

Raphael’s birthday comes shortly after big brother Beau’s after he turned 14 earlier this month.

In true loving dad style, Jamie also gushed over his child over Instagram and spoke of how proud he was.

“Happy 14th birthday Beau . So proud of you . Keep working hard at everything you do . I love you so much . Have the best day. Dad,” the 49 year old wrote alongside a love-heart emoji.

The snaps show the father-son duo on various holidays and events over the years that also feature Manchester City football player Kevin De Bruyne in one photo.

Jamie has been described as a “hands on dad” by his mum Sandra, as she discussed the idea of him having any more kids.

When asked if the couple will have another, Sandra told OK!: “I don’t think so now. She’s already got four!”

Opening up about becoming grandparents for the eighth time, Jamie’s ex football manager dad Harry admitted Rapha’s arrival had come as a surprise and said he wished they got to spend more time with him.

Harry said: “We don’t get to spend as much time with them as we’d like as they’re in London and we’re in Poole. It’s a 2.5 hour journey but we’re going up to see Raphael next week.”
