Foo Fighters Earn 11th No. 1 On Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay Chart With ‘Making A Fire’

Foo Fighters have earned their 11th No. 1 on Billboard‘s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart thanks to “Making a Fire” climbing to the top spot on the list dated September 18.

“Making a Fire” is the third track from the band’s Medicine at Midnight to hit the top spot on Mainstream Rock Airplay. “Shame Shame” and “Waiting on a War” had earlier topped the list.

The band previously released three albums each with two leaders on the survey.

Foo Fighters now have 11 No. 1s on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, tying with Five Finger Death Punch and Godsmack.

Shinedown tops the list with 16 No. 1s, followed by Three Days Grace (15) and Van Halen (13).
