Ex-The Apprentice star ‘in conversation’ to bag major role on ITV’s This Morning

This Morning could soon be set to welcome a brand new addition to their team of big-name presenter and feature guests.

The Apprentice 2022 star Navid Sole – who recently embarked on a discovery to find 'the One' on the latest series of Celebs Go Dating – has hinted he could be set to join This Morning on a permanent basis as a pharmacy expert.

Speaking as a guest on Johnny Seifert's celebrity mental health podcast Secure The Insecure last week, the 27-year-old independent prescriber – who owns two pharmacy businesses – told listeners he'd love to share his expertise on more mainstream platforms.

"The reason also why I've been using these two major TV platforms [The Apprentice and Celebs Go Dating] is to really use my pharmacy element and my pharmacy experience to share useful information to the public, which can be beneficial," Navid explains.

"I'm using this platform to boost myself as a pharmacist so that I can make an influence or even help people being in sort of this huge platform, it really does help.

"It's not really a pharmacist, there's not really a pharmacist, person out there, there's always doctors if you see on TV, so I'm trying to kind of break that niche and trying to put myself forward."

Asked what his goals would be as a 'celebrity pharmacist', Navid adds: "What I'm trying to work through is really to help the public by being on daytime TV, trying to talk about medications, health care, even when it comes to medical conditions, because we know about different medical conditions and not to be rude to doctors, sometimes we may know much more than them.

"And trust me on a daily basis, I see so many mistakes from doctors in terms of the dosage in terms of the medicines they prescribe, and we have to correct them."

Navid pens: "So I just feel like if I'm there making that voice, and I've got people asking me questions, you know, I can help not just one person, but I can help so many people, which can potentially help save costs towards the NHS."

It was then that The Apprentice alum – who last year hoped for a £250k investment from Lord Sugar to expand his pharmacy empire before being the third 'fired' applicant – dropped the bombshell that he's already "in conversation" with ITV.

"So it's all in talks at the moment," he explained. "But I'm constantly pushing my agent to have those talks and to have this conversation.

"So it's all about luck. It's all about just pushing yourself. And with me all I can say, Johnny, is that I'm not a quitter. If people say no, there's always a route where you can find a yes. And that's what I've learned in life."

Navid would be joining the lines of medical expert Dr Zoe Williams, agony aunt Deidre Sanders, soap whiz Sharon Marshall, financial pro Martin Lewis, amongst others, if lucky enough to bag a role on the show as a guest presenter.
