Emma Willis, 45, has declared she is a “proud mum” today while sharing a sweet snap of young son Ace Willis, 9, “embracing colour” while on their family holiday. The Voice Kids host revealed that her son’s mind is as “lively as his clothes” as she gushed over his creativity.

Ace stood with his back to the camera looking out at other families playing on the sand.

He wore an eye-catching pink bucket hat with splashes of blue, yellow and purple over his long blonde hair.

The youngster looked on-trend as wore a baggy green hoodie and orange Adidas flip flops.

Emma said: “I love how much he loves and embraces colour.

“His eyes and his mind are as lively as his clothes. Even on grey days, he shines bright…

“Another proud mum post.”

In response to the post, Emma’s fans praised her for celebrating Ace’s “uniqueness”.

One typed: “Love that. Amazing when as parents we celebrate uniqueness.”

A second replied: “Would you and Matt ever bring out a book about your parenting journeys and your outlook on raising your children?”

While a third typed: “He’s a rainbow! He shines brightly.”

Emma has previously defended her Ace on Good Morning Britain after uploading a photograph of him wearing a pink T-shirt and blue jeans.

Following some negative reaction to the photos from some fans, Emma said she is raising her son to be “open-minded”.

“Do you know what I was really overwhelmed actually, because it’s just my son in a pink top … and for me that’s kind of normality because he loves colour, he’s always had long hair,” she said.

“He’s a very free and open-minded boy who is like, ‘Why do I have to dress in green and blue and grey if I like pink and red and purple? Why is that not okay?

“We’re raising him as an open-minded and inclusive individual.”

She added: “There was some negativity but that’s the beauty of the block button.”

Emma and now husband Matt Willis dated for three years before marrying in 2008.

In 2018, the couple decided to renew their vows, as they returned once more to Rushton Hall in Northamptonshire.

The star-studded event saw Ferne Cotton, as well as Rochelle and Marvin Humes, attend the ceremony.

The couple are parents to Ace, Isabelle Willis, 12, and Trixie Grace Willis, five.
