Shaun Williamson has revealed how he reunited with his long lost son after a rollercoaster romance with a trapeze artist 26 years prior.
The EastEnders actor, who is known for portraying Barry Evans on the popular soap opera, dished out all the intimate details behind their first meeting while appearing on Loose Women on Friday, 2 October.
The 54 year old, who previously appeared on Celebrity Big Brother back in 2017, explained that months before his career in entertainment took off he was in a relationship with a circus star.
The pair went their separate ways after Shaun decided to pursue a life in acting. However, just three months after they called it quits, the trapeze artist discovered she was pregnant with his child.

Now, 26 year later, the father and son reunited in Ireland and bonded over drinks and a few games of pool.
Speaking to the Loose Women stars, Shaun said: "We decided to reconnect. After a few phone calls, had swabs done, no doubt whatsoever.
"Let's have this relationship. Make up for the lost time. We met in Ireland. Hired a couple of rooms. We were both nervous.
"Gary had a lovely envelope of photographs of him growing up over the years. Few more pints and a couple of games of pool.

"In the morning, we had a big cuddle. Next phase was introducing Sophie and Joe – they took to Gary straight away because he's a great guy."
Shaun's son Gary made a surprise appearance on the ITV show too, telling viewers that discovering who his biological father was "mind blowing".
He said: "I didn't know my father until the age of 26. The discovery is mind blowing.
"It's complicated. We had a lot of personal circumstances to why it was put off. My family had a tragedy at 16.

"It never felt like the right time. My sister found out and said enough is enough we need to give Gary the opportunity to connect with his roots and where he came from."
Shaun, who recently claimed he's being haunted by a ghost called Rosemary, then went on to explain how his life progressed while his ex raised their son.
He said: "I got together with Gary's mum, who is a lovely lady. Halfway through our relationship I went to work at a holiday camp at Isle of Wight where I got the bug for being in entertainment.

"I thought maybe something can come of this. When I came back, I knew things would never be the same again. Three months later she was pregnant."
Once Shaun returned from America, he found out his circus performer ex had a new lover and they were raising his son as their own.
"I had a job in America to go to work. When I come back she had got back together with a gentleman and they were raising my son as their own," he said.
