On Monday, Katie Price was found guilty of being drunk while in charge of a motor vehicle.
The mother-of-five appeared at Bexley Magistrates’ Court in Kent, where she also faced the more serious charge of drink driving.
However, the judge ruled that there was no case to answer on the latter charge as there was no evidence to suggest she’d been driving the pink Range Rover before it was found ‘damaged’ by the side of the road.
Following the hearing, Katie was banned from driving for a further three months and ordered to pay a fine of £1,500.
Despite being cleared of drink driving, her court case brought up some startling revelations about her life at the time, from the state of Katie’s car ahead of the crash, to her state of undress at the time of her arrest.
Katie’s car was covered in vomit
One piece of information revealed in court was that Katie’s pink Range Rover was "vomit covered" when it was discovered in Greenwich on October 10.
PC Benjamin Jones and Balvinder Mann told the court that they noticed "what appeared to be sick on the outside of the car".
It is not known whose sick this was.
Katie was wearing no knickers
During the hearing, Katie told the court she was wearing "no socks, no shoes and no knickers" at the time of her arrest.
Explaining her state of undress, the former glamour model the court she was changing into her pyjamas in the back of the car, where she was found "slumped" alongside beau Kris Boyson.
Katie’s relationship could be on the rocks
Giving evidence, Katie said the case had caused tension in her relationship with Kris Boyson, and that he was ‘not helping her at all’ by refusing to identify his pal, who she claims was driving the vehicle.
The court heard that Boyson told officers he would not name the friend as he was "not a grass".
Sonya Saul, prosecuting, said: "Is he aware giving the name of the driver could mean that these proceedings against you could change?"
Katie replied: "Exactly, that’s why it’s stressful.
"Kris knows him. He hasn’t even come here to support me today. He’s not helping me at all."
District Judge Nigel Dean did not accept Price’s claim that a friend of her boyfriend’s was driving them home after the boozy birthday dinner at The Meze in Bexleyheath, south east London.
Katie’s cocktail of choice
Alongside more serious information about the case, Katie’s court appearance also revealed a more trivial detail about the reality star.
Peter Andre’s ex told the court she had drunk between three and four "pornstar martini" cocktails at Kris’s 30th birthday ahead of the car journey.
Evidence Katie ‘glossed over’
When giving his verdict, the judge claimed that Katie’s suggestion she was unaware of her car being damaged was not "credible".
"She accepts that her vehicle appears to have been involved in some sort of road traffic incident that evening. It was particularly obvious in the way the vehicle was parked and obviously damaged to the police officers," he said.
"When Miss Price was asked about that in her interview under caution she denied being aware of any incident taking place. Indeed, that’s the aspect of her evidence today which she has glossed over."
He went on: "She knows a lot more about the circumstances in which her valuable car was involved in a collision than she would have the court believe."
