David and Victoria Beckham 's Cotswolds neighbours are not in the least bit impressed by their plans for their house and its surrounding land.

In fact one has slammed the multiple planning applications which he suggests will change the appearance of their £6m home.

The couple have applied for permission for a lake and a wine cellar, they also reportedly wanted permission for a sauna.

David, 45, and Victoria, 46, already have permission for a secret tunnel, a security gatehouse and a "super garage" for their car collection.

One of the couple's neighbours, Michael Douglas, reportedly sent West Oxfordshire District Council an email to express his frustration and asked them to put a stop to any developments, reports The Sun.

Mr Douglas wrote: "What they appear to want is to bring suburbia into the countryside, if they had wanted all they have applied for why not find an estate which was big enough to accommodate all of this."

He also questioned why they had decided to buy a house in the countryside if they wanted to change it so much.

He said: "If they don't want to live in the countryside in an open area of green fields why buy the properties in the first instance after all they have properties in Los Angeles, Florida, New York and London.

"I believe the planning department need to draw a line and refuse this new planning application."

Their plans for a kidney-shaped lake in the grounds were blocked two weeks ago to protect wildlife.

The local council’s assistant biodiversity officer Esther Frizell-Armitage said in a report: "A comprehensive landscaping scheme will need to be prepared to detail the above habitat features that are to be created, along with a 5-year maintenance plan."

Meanwhile, Victoria is said to be planning on giving people what they really, really want by venturing onto a new career path as she is said to be set to sell sex toys.

It’s been reported the Two Become One singer has sought permission to flog health and beauty products under her trademark Victoria Beckham and initials VB.

A source has told the Daily Star that Victoria, who's son Brooklyn recently got engaged, is aiming to rival Gwyneth Paltrow’s lifestyle brand Goop “in every way”.

The insider said: “Victoria wants to raise revenue by launching her Goop-style business as soon as possible as she thinks she can get a piece of the same markets so profitably targeted by Gwyneth’s brand.

“She may seem unsmiling and prudish, but Victoria reckons she has a cheeky sense of humour, and will not be shying away from trying to snag a share of the sex trade like Gwyneth has done.
