Coronation Street star Alan Halsall has revealed he’s going under the knife for a hair transplant today.
The actor, who plays Tyrone Dobbs on the ITV soap, told fans he was heading back to the surgeon after being left "thrilled" with his first procedure in 2016.
During an Instagram Q & A on Monday night, he wrote: "Off for transplant no2 tomorrow can’t wait. Hope you’re on good form @bessamfarjo."
When quizzed about why he was getting another op, the Corrie favourite replied: "Why not? Since I had my first a few years ago I’ve spoken with so many men who have confidence issues etc because of their hair, maybe this will let some of them know they have options and people have it done all the time."
He defiantly added: "It’s not something to be ashamed of."
Alan has dramatically revamped his look since his split from wife Lucy-Jo Hudson following nine years of marriage.
Alongside his plans for a fuller head of hair, the actor has also caught fans’ attention with his hunkier frame, sharing regular pictures in the gym and shedding the pounds.
His body overhaul comes as his Corrie co-star and ex Lucy-Jo has since moved on from him with actor Lewis Devine.
She met Lewis after they starred together in pantomime Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, in Merseyside, last year.
He has even met her and Alan’s four-year-old daughter, Sienna-Rae, with the pair posing together for a snap on Instagram.
Meanwhile, according to the Daily Star , Alan is said to be dating Corrie’s Tisha Merry, who used to play Steph Britton on the soap.
While the actor is keeping tight lipped on the new relationship, the pair were reportedly spotted on a loved up trip to Anglesey last week.
