Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran were dressed up to the nines as they arrive at the National Television Awards alongside their fellow Love Island 2021 cast members.

The couple, who won over the hearts of the nation with their iconic one-liners and infectious affection for one another in the villa, have spoken to OK! about how they're settling into life on the outside – admitting that they're seriously grateful to have each other for company at star-studded events.

Speaking to OK! on the red carpet, Toby admitted that life after the villa is "very different".

"You're in one reality and thrown into another," he said. This reality is a good reality."

When asked how they're finding they're first proper red carpet, Toby added: "You know what, we're both in it together."

"We're leaning on each other," he said. "She's supporting me, I'm supporting her. It makes it even easier."

Chloe, who looked sensational in her black gown with brown lipstick, added: "I'm really grateful we're together and to be going to all these things."

"You're in the unknown, but at least you've got someone you can relate to."

The couple documented their journey to Thursday's bash, which is being held at the O2 Arena and sponsored by OK!, on Instagram.

Looking dapper in his suit and tie, Toby posed alongside Chloe as she snapped a selfie of the pair in their car to the venue.

Toby and Chloe narrowly missed out on winning this year's series of Love Island, as Millie Court and Liam Reardon triumphed on the show.

Earlier this week Toby had admitted that he thought his girlfriend Chloe was "stuck up" when they first met.

Responding to a question on his instagram Q&A asking his first thoughts of Chloe, Toby confessed: "The first time I met Chloe was on that date. There were six of us, five boys, and it was like a business meeting, so formal.

"So my first thought of her was that she was stuck up, but I guess she was just nervous. But she never knew, so Sshhhh,"

Chloe then shared a snap of himself with his finger over his lips, captioning: "Don't tell her."
