Britney Spears announces new book
Lawyers acting on behalf of Britney Spears’ exes Justin Timberlake, 42, and Colin Farrell, 47, have reportedly threatened to sue her if she includes intimate details about them in her book.
According to a source, the pair were “conscious” about what the 41-year-old singer wanted to say about them from their respective relationships with her in the past.
A discussion about the new release amongst lawyers is said to have caused a four-month delay in the publication process.
“Lawyers demanded to see her book in advance and were adamant that some of the revelations were removed,” an insider told The Sun.
“There are still plenty of gobsmacking tales but Justin and Colin were conscious about what could be said about them.

“The legal process meant the publication was held up by four months as discussions went back and forth about what could be included,” the source added.
“But that has finally now been settled and her autobiography is all ready to go.”
Express.co.uk has contacted a representative for Justin, Colin and Britney for comment.
Britney’s The Woman In Me book is set to be a sell-out with details about her conservatorship experience and love life expected for the first time in her own words.
The singer famously dated Justin back in 1999 and their relationship lasted three years.

Following their split, she was romantically linked to Batman star Colin, however they were not believed to be in an official relationship.
At the time, the actor described himself as “just a 26-year-old guy who’s single and having a good time”.
The singer has since been married three times, firstly to Jason Allen Alexander in 2004, followed by Kevin Federline, who she has two sons with, in the same year.
Last year, she tied the knot with Sam Asghari.
Back in February, Britney announced she had begun writing her memoir and said the process had been “healing and therapeutic”.
She added: “It’s also hard bringing up past events in my life… I’ve never been able to express openly.”
In May, she gave an update on the progress of her book, telling fans she had to “stop a couple of times”, but didn’t give a reason.
“It may take me a year, maybe longer who knows, to share my story,” she typed on Instagram.
Britney’s much-anticipated memoir will be released on October 24.
