Taxi driver who won £4m Lotto prize reveals how much she spent on surgery

A former taxi driver who won £4m on a National Lottery scratchcard has revealed more of her recent cosmetic work.

Melissa Ede says she has now forked out £50,000 on surgery, including new teeth and lip fillers.

Despite the cost, Melissa says the procedures were "worth it" and says she is now looking "more beautiful than ever".

He (the surgeon) has done an amazing job," she told HullLive. "It was £1,500. It was cheap really."

Melissa also says she is only getting stared with her cosmetic surgery journey.

"I am going for a consultation next week about a face lift and nose job," she said.

"I posted a picture of me up [on social media] yesterday. The comments are brilliant saying I look years younger.

"I have to take my driving licence out, I am scared I am going to get ID'd," she joked.

"I'm just looking younger by the day. I'm Hull's very own Katie Price."

In February last year, Melissa had face fillers and Botox – and just months later – had more fillers, botox and more jowel work.

In the new year, she had work done on her teeth which meant she underwent a gruelling nine-hour dental procedure.

In March, she had mouth and lip fillers and in April she underwent more lip and cheek fillers.

"I don't think there is a budget for beauty," she said.

"Some of the comments say 'you are looking like a lady now'.  I always thought I did but obviously not in some people's eyes.

"It makes you feel good. Some of it is painful but no pain, no gain."

"It's taken 110 years off her at least," Melissa's fiancée Rachel Nason said.

"She has got better skin than me now and I have more wrinkles."
