Royal staff at Kensington Palace have given Meghan Markle an important warning about her pregnancy.
The Duchess of Sussex is expecting her first child with Prince Harry in the spring, and she’s been proudly showing off her growing bump for the last month.
But some of her staff are a bit worried about her as it seems she has no plans to slow down in the lead up to her due date.
The Mirror’s royal correspondent Russell Myers says the Duchess is a "workaholic" and claims she "got where she got by being a certain way".
Speaking on Lorraine, Russell said: "Certain members of staff and the aides are encouraging her to slow down a little bit, perhaps she is taking on too much."
Meghan took on her first solo project, a charity cookbook for people affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy, earlier this year and it was a huge success.
She’s expected to announce her royal patronages in the new year after in-depth conversations with the Queen.
The women met for tea at Buckingham Palace earlier this month to discuss Meghan’s potential new roles.
It’s likely that Meghan will take on causes which are in line with her interests, including female empowerment, education and the arts.
She is said to have secretly already met a rang of organisations and charities.
They include the Campaign for Female Education, which supports marginalised girls in Africa, and the Association of Commonwealth Universities.
The Queen is patron of more than 600 organisations and charities. Two years ago, she handed 25 patronages to younger members of the royal family.
She gave the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club — host of the Wimbledon tournament – to the Duchess of Cambridge while Prince Harry received the Rugby Football Union.
