Kerry King reveals what the Universe has in store for you this week… according to Tarot

EVERY Sunday, our resident Tarotscope reader Kerry King will be revealing what surprises, challenges and excitement awaits you in the week ahead.

Kerry has been practising tarot readings for the last 20 years, starting from reading for friends to amassing an international client list.

Using her strong intuition and deep knowledge and understanding of the horoscope, she is able to provide accurate and encouraging predictions for the coming days.

Here's her predictions for YOUR star sign…

Aries – (The Moon, Ace of Swords, Seven of Coins)

Something is not as it seems, someone is not being straight with you, somehow you’re not in full command of ALL the relevant facts just yet.

This is shown by the mysterious card The Moon, and it asks you (as does the “time out” Seven of Coins) to wait before you make any major moves, because you may be misinformed.

Don’t worry, this isn’t a long delay because the Ace of Swords shows that, within the month, a new home truth will be revealed.

It’s likely to cut right to the heart of the matter, and very likely to impact what you want to do next… so don’t move forth without it.

When you do get the news, be careful to take some time and space to absorb it.

Don’t “knee-jerk” react (nothing good comes of that, does it, Aries…).

Then, speak openly and honestly about how you feel, how this does (or doesn’t) change things and what you now plan to do.

It will all be crystal clear.

Taurus – (Queen of Coins, Eight of Cups, The Lovers)

You’re taking control of your destiny and following a heartfelt yearning, which you’ve tried to suppress or avoid for some time now.

The Eight of Cups reflects your onwards journey- it looks difficult and “uphill” in some way, but it won’t feel like that, I promise.

When you follow your best hopes, the extra energy and resolve come naturally.

The Lovers hints how you’ve procrastinated about this decision- you can see both sides of the coin, and have felt torn between your head vs your heart.

Well, the time has come to make that move, Taurus, as shown by the resilient, pragmatic and determined Queen of Coins.

She is a grafter, a direct and sensible person who knows that we make our own luck in this life.

Nothing comes for free. Nothing comes of doing nothing… and it’s time to get some!

Imagine her walking beside you, this week, lending you her wise counsel and support. She’s willing you on!

Gemini – (Seven of Wands, Nine of Coins, Ace of Wands)

Though rivalry and competition can be tough to handle, it does at least show you’re probably pursuing the right thing (because others want it too).

The Seven of Wands asks you to sharpen your elbows and pit your resolve against others this week, you need to stand your ground and believe in your talents and strengths.

You WILL win through, but it’ll take guts.

It’s worth it, Gemini, because the Ace of Wands shows this activity (whatever it is) is a new beginning for you, an inspiring chapter leading to prosperity and success. The Nine of Coins reinforces this potential, and shows a long-term career path growing from this new endeavour or “win”.

What you’re doing now will be gratefully received by a Future You, so make him / her smile in gratitude and stick at it.

You’ve got this!

Cancer – (Two of Wands, The Hierophant, Nine of Swords)

The Hierophant is a card about faith and belief, and suggests you’re examining your thoughts here.

What, or whom, do you believe in? Where is your ‘rock’ in this life? Who can you rely on?

Something is changing here, as shown by the optional Two of Wands, and it’s likely that this is unsettling you.

The Nine of Swords represents unspoken anxieties, those fears we keep to ourselves, and they loom larger and out of proportion as a result.

What has changed in your world that could be causing this undercurrent of worry and anxiety?

Examine recent events, especially around relationships, and identify what is really bothering, deep down.

Then talk it through, get it out, air your fears… they will fade in the cold light of day and you will feel 100% better.

Leo – (Knight of Coins, Death, The Sun)

You’re on the cusp of a new chapter, a bright and beautiful era of success and prosperity.

The Sun represents this ‘portal’, if you will, to a new situation which will be fulfilling and rewarding. You just need the confidence to step through that doorway, and pursue your dreams.

Death hints that a major change is necessary to make that happen, and you’re ready for it.

If nothing changes then how can things change? Exactly.
The Knight of Coins shows this is related to the material side of life- home, money, work, security.

If you’re thinking of investing in something (home improvements, change of location, new car, training course, seeking a new job etc) then start it this week.

Make an overt move in the direction of the thing you want and the Universe will get the hint and bring new opportunity to help you.

Virgo – (Eight of Coins, The Tower, Five of Coins)

Life lessons come in ugly packages sometimes, they are the ‘silver lining’ of the (inevitable) hardships we encounter from time to time.

Recently, something happened which was painful and surprising, it kinda’ knocked you for six.

The Tower represents that event, and the Five of Coins shows it was linked to a loss of some kind.

Enough distance now exists between you and ‘it’ to look back from a safe perspective and consider what you can learn or take from it.

The Eight of Coins shows that there IS a valuable lesson or truth to absorb, one which will help you in the future.

The pain and upset of this event are now behind you, and you don’t need to relive those emotions.

Review it from an objective, intellectual standpoint.

Examine it through a lens, and trust that you’ll learn something important.

Libra – (King of Swords, Ten of Wands, Five of Swords)

If you’re not careful, you could end up getting dragged into something draining and negative, which you actually have no control or influence over either.

The Five of Swords and Ten of Wands warn of getting tangled up in the quagmire, against your will.

Identify any situations of conflict or disputes around you, and make a conscious effort to keep your distance from them!

You are a great mediator and like to offer your objective opinions on situations. It will be tempting to do that here, but that move will prove to be the first step on a long journey into someone else’s misery.

The King of Swords advises you to take the high road, stay away from the ‘action’, observe this from afar (if you have to) and remain objective.

If you can do this, you’ll be saving yourself a whole HEAP of bother.

Scorpio – (Ten of Cups, Page of Wands, Five of Cups)

You’re in one of those funny moods: reflective, quiet, and a little bit, dare I say, mournful over something from the past.

The Five of Cups is a sad card about lingering emotions left by a painful event long ago- some feelings are ‘sticky’ and hang on long after whatever caused them has passed i.e. anger, guilt, shame, grief.

The Page of Wands wants you to lighten the mood, even if you don’t feel like it.

Fake it till you make it, Scorpio, because if you stare at the past then that is the direction you’ll head in.

The Ten of Cups reveals that the key to escaping this cloudy spell is revelling in the loves of your life right now.

Spend time, doing heartwarming things, with those people you love and like.

Prioritise that above all else this week, and the storm clouds will pass by a lot quicker and you’ll remember how lucky you actually are. Onwards and upwards!

Sagittarius – (King of Wands, The Wheel of Fortune, The Chariot)

Bolshy, bold cards this week, Sagittarius, what on earth are you up to now? You’re definitely on the move in some way.

The Chariot and the King of Wands are both potent symbols of travel, location changes, journeys and movement.

Have you got itchy feet? Or growing pains? They come because it’s time to find new landscapes to play in.

The Wheel of Fortune indicates these feelings are not going to subside and, if you try to ignore them, then life will just nudge you harder.

So, be the “doer” not the “done to”.

Just one push on the right pivot point, on that wheel of fortune, can spin the whole darned thing around, creating a domino effect across your whole life… so choose wisely, but don’t delay either.

The Universe is swirling all around you, there are opportunities in all directions, and it’s a case of selecting the path you most want to pursue.

Don’t stand still. It’s time to move.

Capricorn – (Eight of Cups, Queen of Coins, Knight of Wands)

There’s been something nagging away at you and, this week, you’re ready to put your finger on it- precisely.

The Eight of Cups represents this unspoken yearning, this feeling of wanting to move onwards in some way, of being drawn to a new horizon.

The Knight of Wands shows that the energy to start this new adventure is brewing right NOW.

And the Queen of Coins is you in “planning mode” (one of your favourite “modes” TBF).

You do enjoy setting up a spreadsheet, mapping out your goals, creating a plan of attack… and you’re ready to do that now.

The clouds have cleared and you can see what it is you’ve been yearning for.

And now that you can label it, you can understand it, and that means you CAN see exactly how to make it happen.

Aquarius – (The Lovers, The Hermit, King of Coins)

You need to take the lead, you know.

And, for an Aquarian, that’s not toooo difficult because you DO know your own mind, you’ve got assertive qualities and, importantly, other people do respect you.

The Lovers shows the tricky situation you’ve been embroiled in. Things have felt very up and down, and no one can agree on the right solution.

The Hermit reveals how much time you’ve spent dwelling on this, privately, and that you’ve taken it very seriously indeed.

Maybe more so than anyone else.

And that, my friend, is exactly why you’re the one who’s best placed to come out and say what needs to happen and start that process.

Be the King of Coins- the wise, resilient and pragmatic leader who helps others see this is all about compromise and getting through the choppy waters in one piece.

You can lead the way. Start today.

Pisces – (The Sun, The Devil, Page of Coins)

The powerful combination of The Devil and the Page of Coins shows that you’ve got the right levels and blend of resolve, motivation and determination to crack a bad habit you’ve long wanted to change this week.

With some background reading leading to a considered approach, you can put something new into practice which will help draw you away from whatever it is you want rid of (be that a habit, activity, attitude or even a person).

It’s hard to deny those “paths of least resistance” if there’s not an alternative to guide you elsewhere, and you’ve realised this 100%.

You’re ready to put new measures in place to help move you forwards.

The Sun blesses this new leaf with good fortune and success, so don’t waste this opportunity.

Whether it’s giving something up, introducing a new activity, changing your mindset or setting a positive goal, get to it with confidence and self belief.

You’ve got this, Pisces!
