They’re three of the biggest actors at the world right now – and the showbiz sun was shining on Illinois yesterday, as Chris Hemsworth, Taron Egerton and Kit Harington were all there for Comic-Con.
The blockbuster fan convention ACE Comic-Con Midwest is taking place in the town of Rosemont, immediately north of Chicago, Illinois.
And Chris, Taron and Kit all appeared for their ‘A Conversation with…’ slots on the Main Stage yesterday afternoon.
Asked if his kids understand their dad is ‘a god’, Thor star Chris answered: ‘They don’t think of me as a God! I’d like them to! Once they realised they couldn’t actually fly, that was a sad day!
‘I’d come home and they’d say “Dad, do that thing with the hammer! Fly! Summon the lightning!” [I’m like] only at work kids, only at work!’
Other stars to appear at the event included Brie Larson, Tom Holland and Tessa Thompson.
Kit’s Game Of Thrones co-star Gwendoline Christie also put in an appearance.
Chris is of course known for superhero movies like Avengers: Endgame and Thor: Ragnarok.
Meanwhile, Taron starred in this year’s critically-acclaimed Elton John biopic Rocketman – speaking on stage, he said getting the role was ‘a pivotal moment in my life’ – plus the Kingsman films.
Meanwhile, Kit is moving onto new projects after Game of Thrones wrapped this year.
One of his upcoming films is Eternals. The superhero film, due in 2020, will also feature Angelina Jolie and Richard Madden.
