X Factor’s Tracyleanne Jefford tragically diagnosed with skin cancer on nose

Most will remember the singer from her appearance on X Factor back in 2017.

In a devastating turn of events, Tracyleanne Jefford has reportedly been diagnosed with skin cancer on her nose.

The 35-year-old is said to have received the sad news two weeks ago.

Officially named basal cell carcinoma, or BCC, it is the most common form of skin cancer.

According to The Sun, the Surrey native will go under the knife to have the cancerous body removed from her nose.

Their source claimed: “She was diagnosed with cancer on her face a couple of weeks ago.

“She’s got to go for another op in two or three weeks.”

Before adding: “They’ll basically take away parts of the nose and rebuild it.”

Fortunately, BCC can be cured when treated appropriately and tends not to spread to other parts of the body.

During her time on X Factor, she successfully made it to the live-show performances.

Before the judges, she revealed she had recently lost over five stone in weight and was living a new healthy lifestyle.

The songstress was mentored by Nicole Scherzinger on the hit song competition, in the over 28s category.

Though she had previously auditioned for the show in 2006, she was unsuccessful the first time around.

Our thoughts are with Tracyleanne and her family at this difficult time.
