Lucy Verasamy: ‘Time will tell’ ITV weather star makes surprising admission

Lucy Verasamy, 38, issued a warning to viewers as she admitted the hot weather may not continue all the way into the bank holiday weekend despite the major turnaround this week. The Good Morning Britain star did reveal we can expect to see temperatures stay dry and warm for now. She told viewers: “A promising few days ahead as the week draws to a close. We just need these fine conditions to remain into the long weekend. Time will tell. “We’ve got some lovely late spring sunshine as the week wears on. Just a slight breeze. Chilly nights but at least they’re on the short side given the time of year.”

She continued: “Having said that, the temperatures fall low enough for just a slight frost come the small hours, particularly out in the suburbs.

“A nip in the air for those up right and early. Little mist and murk to start the new day before it cheers up and the sunshine gets to work. Feeling quite toasty come the afternoon.”

The ITV weather star said temperatures are on the rise going into the end of week.

Lucy divulged: “Temperatures a touch up on today. Highs of 22 or 23 degrees. That’s more like it given the time of year. Just a little cloud cover here and there wafting around.

“It’s not enough to spoil things. A different story in parts of Scotland – a brisk wind here.

“Feeling a little cooler but at least the rain will tend to ease up after a very soggy few days.”

She finished: “A similar set up into Friday. Hit and miss showers in the west but all in all plenty of sunshine and feeling very pleasant out there.”

Lucy looked chic as she sported a white blouse which teamed with a tanned skirt.

Keeping her make-up natural, she added a hint of pink blush, a light smokey eye and a nude lip.

Meanwhile, the brunette beauty caused a major stir with her most recent upload on Instagram this week.

The Good Morning Britain forecaster shared a photo of herself dressed in a gorgeous black suede minidress as she hit the red carpet at the ITV Gala at the London Palladium in 2017.

The sleeveless dress featured ruffled detail as the dress clung to her toned frame.

Lucy sported a pair of open-toe heeled shoes which elongated her legs and completed her look with a beige clutch bag as she posed on the red carpet.

In view of her 101,000 followers, she captioned the post: “The dress genius who found this little red carpet number is hosting a fashion pop up & collaboration this evening & tomorrow : more details on @maisondesaison @sarahkatebyrne.”

Fans swarmed to her account as they gushed over the weather forecaster with many complimenting Lucy on her gorgeous outfit.

One person said: “You are my best looking lady @lucyweather.”

Another person commented: “OMG that’s just not fair LUCY! You Look Absolutely Gorgeous.”
