Before Kate Middleton met Harry and Meghan’s son, Archie, yesterday, she shared a sweet update on her own royal baby, Prince Louis. While visiting the D-Day exhibition at Bletchley Park, she revealed that her third child with Prince William “is keeping us on our toes,” People reports.
It turns out the little royal is a fast mover. “I turned around the other day and he was at the top of the slide — I had no idea!” Duchess Kate added. Just earlier this year, the royal mom said her son is “already a fast crawler.”
William and Kate’s baby boy Louis just turned one on April 23, which they celebrated by releasing sweet, intimate portraits of him. Duchess Kate, an avid photographer, personally shot the images of her little one smiling and sporting the cutest little sweater vests at their country home in Norfolk.
“Kate is a keen photographer and has enjoyed developing her skills over the years,” a source previously told BAZAAR.com. “She’s looking forward to sharing more of her photos over the months ahead—including on the @KensingtonRoyal Instagram account.”
The mother of three seemed excited that her nephew Archie arrived around the time of her own children’s birthdays. (He was born on May 6, Princess Charlotte was born on May 2, Prince Louis was born on April 23, and Prince George was born on July 22.) “It’s such a special time, obviously with Louis and Charlotte just having had their birthdays, it’s such a great time of year to have a baby,” Kate said following Archie’s birth last week.
The mother of three also shared well wishes for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who are first-time parents. “These next few weeks are always a bit daunting the first time around so we wish them all the best,” she added.
