Jason Isbell is set to perform at the Tibet House US benefit concert on February 7.
“I’ll be joining many great artists at 2019’s @tibethouseus benefit @carnegiehall. It’s on 2/7, coincidentally my 7-year sober date. In order to continue to challenge myself, I’ll be performing an experimental guitar set, not my usual songs.” Isbell tweeted.
In addition to Isbell, Tibet House US announced that Stephen Colbert, Sturgill Simpson, Nathaniel Rateliff and Laurie Anderson have also joined the lineup of the 32nd Annual Tibet House US Benefit Concert.
Philip Glass, Margo Price, Jon Batiste, New Order‘s Bernard Sumner, Chris Robinson Brotherhood and Tenzin Choegyal are also set to perform at the show.
The benefit concert supports Tibet House US, a non-profit educational institution and cultural embassy formed at the request of the Dalai Lama to preserve Tibetan civilization. The concert is set to be held in New York at Carnegie Hall on February 7.
