Formula One ace Jenson Button, 38, announces he is expecting his first child with fiancée Brittny Ward, 28

Jenson Button has announced he is expecting his first child with his model fiancée Brittny Ward.

Taking to Instagram, the excited 38-year-old sportsman penned: ‘Brittny & I are Delighted to announce the new edition to the family currently having his first seat! Look how comfy he looks! #babybutton’.

The good news comes as Jenson and his 28-year-old partner go through a big change on the home front, as the multi-millionaire driver put his lavish Californian mansion on the market for $6.85million back in October.

Jenson and Brittny have gone from strength to strength since they announced their engagement on social media in June.

He lifted the lid on the most romantic thing he had ever planned was lunch in a little boat off Italy’s Amalfi Coast in the summer.

He told Mail On Sunday’s YOU magazine: ‘Have lunch in a little boat off Italy’s Amalfi Coast this summer with my girlfriend Brittny.’

 

The couple have been dating since March 2016, three months after Jenson’s split from model ex Jessica Michibata was confirmed.

Jenson and ex-wife Jessica tied the knot in a lavish Hawaiian ceremony in December 2014 but they called time on their relationship just one year later.

A spokesperson for Jenson told MailOnline at the time: ‘Jenson and Jessica have decided to go their separate ways and it is very amicable. There is no one else involved.’

Jessica has also moved on from her romance with Jenson and gave birth to her first baby Joy in October 2017 but has not confirmed the identity of her daughter’s father.

Formula One driver Jenson, who has racked up an estimated $105m fortune from his two decade-long racing career, purchased the home for $6.1m in June last year.

The extravagant mansion is complete with five bedrooms, his-and-hers bathrooms, a fire pit and a wet bar.
