Ariana Grande ends 2018 with expletive ridden rant before deleting tribute to ex

Ariana Grande has had a rollercoaster ride during 2018 and it seems that she is quite happy to get off that now and look for something a little more smoother for the year ahead.

The ‘No Tears Left To Cry’ singer has seen one ex pass away while another threatened to take his own life, as the 25-year-old had a traumatic twelve months.

Ariana has closed the door on 2018 with an expletive ridden rant, in which she hopes there will be more "clarity and healing" in the coming months.

Posting a pic of herself, sideways to the camera, she wrote with it: “Farewell 2018, you f***.

“I hope this new year brings you all much laughter, clarity and healing. Be gentle with yourselves and each other.”

She continued to her 141 million followers with: “If we made it thru this last year, we’ll for sure make it thru this one. Thank you for everything.”

Ariana ended it with a black heart emoji.

That wasn’t it for the night either, as Ariana said goodbye to the year by deleting a tribute to her ex, late rapper Mac Miller, who she had posted a pic of playing the piano on her Instagram story.

There was also a whirlwind romance with Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson, which saw the couple get engaged only for them to call it off a few months later.

Pete struggled with the break-up and caused concern among his fans when he shared, what was believed to be, a suicide note on Instagram before deleting all of his social media accounts.

The cry for help saw Ariana head to the SNL studios to try and speak to him but he was not so keen and swerved his ex and has not reached out since.

Speaking after winning Billboard’s Woman of the Year award, Ariana said, “I want to say that I find it interesting that this has been one of the best years of my career and the worst of my life.

"I’m not saying that for sympathy, I’m just saying that because I think a lot of people would look at someone in my position right now…and think, ‘She’s really got her s*** together,’ Ya know? Like, ‘She’s really on it.’ Like, ‘She’s got it all.’"

Of course, this is not necessarily the case and Ariana went on to highlight where it has been going wrong.

She continued: “I do, but as far as my personal life goes, I really have no idea what the f*** I’m doing so yeah, it’s been a very conflicting one.”

Hopefully Ariana’s wish for a better year will come to light in 2019, as she looks to move on from a difficult twelve months.
